After years of complaints, it looks like the makers of the FIFA franchise are finally listening. EA Sports have released an open letter reminding players that using bots to farm coins in Ultimate Team is cheating.
“The use of bots and 3rd party bot services to automatically buy Transfer Market items in order to gain an unfair advantage is a form of cheating. Gamers detected using bots, 3rd party bot services, or scripts for any purpose will be subject to our ban process below.”
Any player caught buying or selling coins illegally will now receive a warning first, after which a yellow card, then an Ultimate Team reset, and then the harshest penalty – a red card and lifetime online ban.

News has broken through to state that Microsoft Xbox One will now be sold without the Kinect. This comes as a response to the influx of comments and requests from current Xbox owners. Initially Microsoft only wanted to sell the Xbox Ones as a complete premium bundle, but in an effort to be more competitive against Sony’s PS4 this is what they have done.
The premium version of the Xbox One bundle will still be sold and stocked by retailers although they will now also stock the basic version whereby the console just comes by itself. This is mainly targeted at Xbox gamers that do not feel the need to make use of the Skype, or voice control capabilities or just simple do not have the space to fully utilise the Kinect.
At the same time Xbox have done this they have also opened up the Silver online membership to include the video streaming apps like Netflix that used to be part of the Gold subscription package.

Owners of the Sony PS4 will be pleased to hear the announcement of the new software update 1.70. Sony have revealed that the firmware update will be available for download on Wednesday 30th April.
Some of the main features of this new update will be to make edits of the videos they capture in the app called SHAREfactory, allowing them to be simply exported via an external drive. This means that gamers can easily upload and share their video content on such sites as YouTube.
The capture protection will also be able to be tuned off, which was not available in the last version with the HDCP off feature.
Another key features gamers are looking forward to is the ability to pre-download new titles before the release date. This means that as soon as the game is officially released the game will be unlocked and ready to play.

The success of the Playstation 4 is certainly not short lived, and the big sales have continued in Japan where it was recently launched. The sales in Japan actually beat the whole of the PS3 sales at launch, and that just goes to show how far Sony has come.
The relatively low price for the Playstation 4 compared to the Xbox One has played a part in their launch success, but with the Xbox One now lowering their price it could mean that the competition is set to heat up again.
You literally have to put both the consoles under the microscope to find any differences and it’s fair to say that people who are not ‘hardcore gamers’ are likely to just opt for the cheaper console. Sales have certainly pecked up since Christmas for both of these consoles, and the cheaper prices may now push people from all around the globe to upgrade to new next gen consoles.
