Zombies were the big thing in gaming a short while ago. In fact, Zombies were the big thing in media, let alone gaming. You couldn’t move without walking into a new zombie film or book, or some sort of drama about surviving an apocalypse where people had gone a little bit cannibal. Plants vs Zombies, from Popcap Studios and published by EA, came slap bang in the middle of that craze. The game is available for every device under the sun but, crucially, doesn’t take itself half as seriously as many zombie games from that time have done.
The game is ridiculous. You are defending your home against waves of zombies by deploying, you guessed it, plants. The plants come in various shapes and sizes, as do the zombies, and all have various abilities. Some provide you with sunlight which you need to plant other plants, some fire peas, some act as defensive walls while others are more explosive.
