Redesigns for the Next Gen Consoles

With the Christmas period cooling down, and more people having purchased next generation consoles (whether it is a ps4 or an Xbox One) talk has already began about the next generation redesigns.

Every popular games console over the last decade has come with a redesign. Even the original PlayStation came with a cuter, smaller and curvier design. And even before that the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) again came with a smaller redesign.

Redesigns do not tend to include major internal developments; however the Playstation 2 had firmware updates, a smaller body and tweaked internals along with a much smaller design. Redesigns are likely to be already underway and it will be interesting to see which next gen console has benefited more from a redesign out of the Playstation 4 (PS4) or the Xbox One.

Handheld Games Console

A handheld games console is an electronic, portable, lightweight device that consists of a built in speaker, screen as well as game controllers. It is usually smaller than the conventional game consoles and contains the speakers, controls and the screen in a single unit providing for mobility and portability.

The first handheld console was introduced in 1976 when Auto Race was first released. Consequently, several other companies designed their own portable, handheld games console. The oldest handheld games console which contained interchangeable cartridges were developed in 1979.

Upon the development of Game Boy, the developing company was accredited for popularizing the handheld games console concept in 1989 and has continued to dominate the handheld console market since then. The handheld consoles are only capable of playing a single game at a time and can fit on a tabletop or the palm of the hand. They support different video displays including LED, VCD or even VFD.

Football Manager 2014 for PC

Football manager is one of the rare few games that is now only available on PC, rather than game Xbox and Playstation game consoles.

There’s no doubt the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 have the power to play the games, but the developers have instead opted to have it created for PC only. There’s no doubt that FIFA 14 has a different audience to Football Manager 2014, and if you’re a strategist who’s not fussed about button bashing, then football manager is for you.

There’s a certain amount of pride that comes with Football Manager when your team succeeds, after all you created it. Other may see Football manager as work, having to work out budgets, deal with player morale and read through unnecessary emails.

It’s certainly one of the most popular PC games, perhaps number One, and because of its loyal audience on PCs, there really is no need to turn it back into a console game.

Essential Extras for your Games Consoles

Each time a new console is released; there are certain extras that always seem to be purchased immediately after, such as a second controller, or rechargeable controller wire.

With the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One, pretty much everything you require is included, but there are some additional extras you may want to consider.

The Kinect sensor is a big one for the Xbox and it tracks your body movement, recognises your face, listens to your voice, and essentially lets you play games with your body movements alone.  Another popular addition for the Xbox is the play and charge kit, it’s extremely well priced and it means you’ll never have to worry about searching your home for more batteries.

The Playstation 4 camera, allowing for unique video chats with your friends and other online gamers. It could be important to look at various console bundles to get all of the necessary kit and equipment, that way you can actually sit down and play your console without having to run back out for the essential extras.

Halo team seeking developers with MMO experience

Work ads for programming builds at 343 Industries look for staffers with Mmo know-how to raise innovation benefits for Master Chief adventure.

Microsoft has put out a call for staffers with greatly multiplayer internet diversion infrastructure experience to join 343 Industries to chip away at future Halo ventures. Two work postings at 343 Industries were posted yesterday, both for programming infrastructure designs who will chip away at “raising the following era of backend administrations to power Halo 4 and our new diversion adventure.”

The aforementioned work postings take after extra orders posted a week ago that demonstrated 343 Industries was staffing up for riddle “hatching activities.” A Microsoft illustrative was not promptly ready for remark.

Provided that Microsoft is assembling a Halo Mmo, it won’t be the first run through the association has done so. The Microsoft-possessed (and now outdated) Ensemble Studios used three years on a Halo Mmorpg codenamed Titan that apparently held a $90 million plan preceding it was wiped out in 2007.
